Vintage R/C??
Does anybody still break out the nostalgia and run them on the tracks these days for fun?
I've got my baby doll, classic RC-10 CE w/Stealth tranny, all original (with MIP BB steering sitting in the package ready to install "someday") with an original Novak Rooster and a Green Machine 2 for power that I still drive on occasion...may have to break it out at the track sometime after I get a new body for it.
My main project right now is building up a classic OFNA badged Sin-Yih Tempo 2 which, back in the day, was a gnarly 1:8 4wd Nitro buggy...it's a brand new chassis, brand new .21 Force engine that I can't get to start...grrrrr.
Current side project is an original Tamiya Blackfoot...just needs a couple of things (donations of a crusty old ESC will be accepted) with stock 05 in it...THAT would be fun trying to bounce around the track, for sure! Maybe I can take the Blackfoot and create some type of frankenstein rwd SC truck somehow?? Hmmm...side project might become something COMPLETELY different, haha.
Anybody else working on or have some cool classic stuff they like to tinker with?

How does that stealth tranny hold up with the brushless? Any problems so far?

I have a kyosho ultima that I've run on the track. At present I'm combing parts from another one I picked up. Biggest problem, parts support.
