Has anyone tried the Hobbywing or EZrun brushless ESCs and/or motors yet?

I just recieved an ez run esc and tacon brushless motor for a 1/18th scale that I hope to install this weekend. I'll post up a review as soon as I get it running.

I have raced with a guy at Harmony Hills that has had better luck with his HW 1/8e stuff than I have with either CC or Tekin . . . . I have definitely heard more good than bad about all of their stuff.

Wow, that's good to hear. I'm seriously kicking around the idea of putting a light brushless system in my RC-10 w/Stealth tranny to kick around with. I can't throw huge$$ at it, for sure, so this my be a decent route for me to try out, for sure!
