Bear, Local 865
My name is Keith "Bear" Weston. I am one of the founders of Bear Bones RC. I'm also the President of the East Tennessee , Local 865 chapter. What started as a freindly RC rivalry between my son, myself and some out of town family members has grown into what this club is today. I value the time my son and I spend together in the hobby. I also have a young Grandaughter who just got her first real, hobby grade RC, a Traxxas Rustler. All I can say is watch out, she will be a force to contend with in the future.
I have met many great friends, locally and thru HobZob in this hobby/sport. With the help of these great friends we have built this club and turned into to what it is now. I cannot thank them enough. Without them, I could not have accomplished what we have and what we're hoping for in the future.
I'd also like the thank the local chapters of Bear Bones RC and all the members for the support and contribution. Without you their would be no club. We have built a strong foundation and we can only benefit from each other and our continuing growth.
I also own Run-A-Muck Raceway, one of our club's tarcks and playgrounds. I like to extend an invitation to any members ever visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge area to come out to the Run-A-Muck and join us sometime.

Ok, you youngsters! From now on, entry to the Run-A-Muck is restricted to card carrying members of the AARP.
Wait....never mind. I'd not have anybody to run with except when Beav comes down!
