Hot Bodies Deal
Hey guys I went into the hobby shop a few days ago and i saw a buggy hanging on a shelf and next to it was a bag with the manual and a truck load of spare parts then i saw the price tag $200.00 i was like sweet there is no engine or servos or reciver but then i flipped it over and it had a new price sticker on it saying 150 so im probably gonna buy it.

find out which one it is. if it's a lightning then that's way to much for a roller. imo. if it's a D8 then do it to it. The D8 was on my list of buggies to look at, but lost because of pretty good deal that I found.

If you plan on racing it . . . . never underestimate the advantages of running a popular vehicle from your local track, for the specific setup help and trackside spares. I think you will really like the 1/8 buggies

Re: Hot Bodies Deal
$450.00 is high for the Caster buggy make sure its the 1.5R verison Caster had 3 buggys and the 1.5R is the best one. The others have issues and are no longer in production. As for parts if your LHS dont carry a large inventory you will have to order on the web but Mike the owner of Caster USA has a good supply of parts and other needed stuff. Checkout www.casterusa.com or www.holeshothobbies.com for the best deal on a caster. As for Hot Bodies the D8 is a fine piece of equipment and will handle very well. 200.00 for a D8 roller is a fair price if it had low run time. These buggys have few issues and are very racer friendly. www.stommerhobbies.com had a new kit for around $285.00 or so new may be the way to go.
Re: Hot Bodies Deal
The caster buggy is yet to be ordered so it has to still be in production... LHS has an 8'x14' wall of caster parts lol
